On one knee and with his fist in the air is how Barça fans have become accustomed to seeing Raphinha this season, the Brazilian having used his trademark goal celebration more than ever in 2024/25. The blaugrana number 11 has had his best ever campaign when it comes to being involved in goals, and his contribution has been key in winning two trophies so far this season with the hope of another to come.

Tripling previous figures

Raphinha has exploded into action as a goalscorer in his third season as a blaugrana. The Brazilian has scored 34 goals in 2024/25, more than tripling his previous figures for a season as in 2022/23 and 2023/24 he managed 10 in each campaign.

The total places him just behind club top scorer for the season Robert Lewandowski who has 40 in all competitions. However, Raphinha was Barça's top scorer in the Champions League with 13 goals, to add to his 18 in the league, 1 in the Copa del Rey and 2 in the Spanish Super Cup.

His most recent goals came in the 4-3 win over Real Madrid in the Clásico, a demonstration that in big games Raphinha always responds.

Number of assists

Not just a goalscorer, Raphinha has also shone this season when it come to creating goals. His 22 assists this season dwarf his totals of 12 in 2022/23 and 11 in 2023/24. This season, in his 52 appearances for Barça he has been involved in 56 of the team's 167 goals - stats that show the Brazilian's importance to Hansi Flick's Barça side.
