It’s time for international football. From July 2 to 27, the Women's European Championship will be happening in Switzerland, with FC Barcelona and its 18 players taking centre stage. With such a strong blaugrana presence there are plenty of must-watch matches to look forward to.

July 2. Barça duel to start 

The tournament kicks off on July 2 with Switzerland vs Norway, and Barça players will be on both sides. Representing the hosts is the young Sydney Schertenleib, while Caroline Graham features for the Scandinavians.

July 3: Spain open against Kika Nazareth  

Spain begin their campaign on the day after against Portugal.  No fewer than 11 Barça players will be hoping to help La Roja to a title they have never won before.

Cata Coll, Ona Batlle, Jana Fernández, Irene Paredes, Patri Guijarro, Aitana Bonmatí, Alexia Putellas, Vicky López, Salma Paralluelo, Claudia Pina, and new signing Laia Alexandri will face off on July 3 against their Barça teammate—Kika Nazareth.

Also on July 3, Giulia Dragoni’s Italy, with the midfielder currently on loan at AS Roma, will make their debut against Belgium.

On July 4 at 6pm CEST, Denmark take on Sweden in another clash featuring Barça talent, in this case Fridolina Rolfö with the Swedes. Just a few hours later, Poland face Germany, with Ewa Pajor hoping to make a strong start against the reigning runners-up.

Finally, July 5, Esmee Brugts makes her debut for the Netherlands against Wales.
