End of the regular season for the Barça futsal team after a 3-1 win at home in the Palau Blaugrana over Córdoba. The third placed finish in the table means that the blaugranes will now face Jaén in the quarter-final of the league title play offs.
The first game will come on Thursday 29 May and will see a special send off for the departing Sergio Lozano and Dyego.
From the start
The game in the Palau could not have started better as in the blaugranes' first attack Córdoba's Mareco diverted the ball past his own goalkeeper to put Barça ahead.
Tino Pérez's team had chances to make it 2-0 before Dyego doubled his team's advantage with a trademark finish on 12 minutes.
The victory secured
In the second half Córdoba came back at Barça and Mykytiuk made it 2-1 with 27 minutes gone. However, Touré's goal with five minutes remaining secured the win for the blaugranes. Barça looked to add to their advantage in the hope of overtaking Palma in the league table on goal difference but they had to be happy with a 3-1 win and third place with the next challenge the tie against Jaén.
