Barça's roller hockey team closed the regular season with a 2–2 draw against Reus Deportiu at the Palau Blaugrana. Though the result didn’t affect the standings, as Barça had already secured top spot weeks ago, the match still delivered the intensity expected from a 'clásico' in this sport.
Reus took the lead twice, through Pol Martínez and Martí Casas, but Barça replied each time with goals from Matias Pascual and Sergi Llorca. Pascual equalised during a power play, and Llorca struck again minutes later on the counter.
Debut for Àlex Ortigosa
The match also marked the debut of 19-year-old Àlex Ortigosa, a product of Barça’s youth system.
Despite some late drama and a final-minute blue card to Pascual, the draw held. Barça now turn their focus to the playoff quarter-finals against PAS Alcoi, set for mid-May — a tie that will also see the club retire Sergi Panadero’s shirt.
